Apache Tear is a form of Black Obsidian and is the most commonly recommended for grief (or helping one get through grief), especially after suffering the loss of a loved one. It, of course, can still be used for protection, in most cases, protecting one’s heart, mind, and spirit from suffering longer than you have to. It can also clear negative feelings and emotions.
